Hypoaspis miles is a soil-dwelling predatory mite used to control immature stages of Fungus gnats and Thrips pupae...It also feeds on some other soil pests and nematodes. Adults are tan in color, less than 1 mm long (1/20th in.) and move rapidly over the soil surface. They live, eat, and reproduce in the soil, media pathway and on the greenhouse floor. The life cycle takes 18 days at 20 degrees Celsius, 90% humidity.
Mode of action: Predatory mites search for their prey or wait for it to pass by, then suck it dry.
APPLICATION
Recommended for use in greenhouses or net houses. Should be applied in the early morning or in the late afternoon. Apply to the crops as soon as possible after receipt.
Slightly rotate and shake before opening the packaging.
Frequently stir the substrate while releasing.
Sprinkle equally on the soil or growing media near the stumps
Leave the packaging near the plants for some days.
