DESCRIPTION
Amblyseius cucumeris is a predatory mite used to control immature stages of thrips and broad mites… It also feeds on pollen or some other pest mites. Adults are pear-shaped, tan in color, and less than 0.5 mm (1/50th in.) long. Eggs are round, transparent, and 0.14 mm in diameter. The life cycle takes 10-12 days at 20-25 degrees Celsius. We can find them on leaf hairs along the veins on the lower surface of leaves.
Mode of action:Predatory mites search for their prey or wait for it to pass by, then suck it dry.
APPLICATION
Recommended for use in greenhouses or net houses. Should be applied in the early morning or in the late afternoon. Apply to the crops as soon as possible after receipt.
1. Spread by hand or machine
Slightly rotate and shake before opening the packaging.
Frequently stir the substrate while releasing.
Sprinkle equally on the leaves.
Do not sprinkle too thickly on leaves and buds (for some kinds of crop).
Leave the packaging near the plants for some days.
2. Hang sachets
Open the sachet hangers.
Hang near flowers and under leaves.
Avoid direct sunlight and water.
DOSAGE
Spread by hand or machine: 100-200 mites/m², every 1-2 weeks.
Hang sachets: 1 sachet/m², 1-2 times/crop.
STORAGE
Apply to the crops as soon as possible after receipt.
Optimum storage temperature: 10-15 degrees Celsius; Or store in a cool, ventilated room for 1-2 days.
