Eocanthecona furcellata Wolff. is a predatory bug used to control many kinds of caterpillars. Larvae have 5 stages. The first and second stages have bright red and black legs. The third stage has a black border that appears on the outer edge of the body and a streak in the middle of the back. From the fourth stage onwards, the feet have pale yellow cavities. Adult gray in color. The life cycle of E. furcellata is from 22 to 61 days, depending on different seasons.
Mode of action:Predatory bugs search for their prey or wait for it to pass by, then suck it dry.
APPLICATION
Recommended for use in greenhouses or net houses. Should be applied in the early morning or in the late afternoon. Apply to the crops as soon as possible after receipt.
Slightly tap before opening the packaging.
Release equally the predators on the plants.
Release in groups of at least 10 individuals so that predators can easily mate and develop a population.
Apply more in the areas of infested plants.
Leave the packaging near the plants for some days.

200-400 bugs/ 1000 m². release in groups of at least 10 individuals.
STORAGE
Apply to the crops as soon as possible after receipt.
Store in a cool, ventilated room and release within the day.
